Will you tell us to rewrite everything?
Almost never. Rewrites are the most expensive and risky option, so we treat them as a last resort. Most legacy systems have years of correct behavior baked in; the job is to expose and extend that, not to throw it away.
Can you work with systems that have no documentation?
Yes. Reverse-engineering undocumented systems is routine work for us: traffic analysis, database inspection, and behavioral testing before anything is touched.
